ATSF Engines (6 items)

MTH 20-3436-1 Santa Fe Blue Goose Passenger Set w/PS 3.0

This is an absolutely beautiful set. Not surprisingly, this is usually the favorite set of any women who come to see the layout. Made in 2011, added to my collection in July of 2012.

Atlas 20032006 Santa Fe Dash 8-40CW #816

What a gorgeous model. Runs great and sounds great as well. Made in 2018, added to my collection in June of 2018.

Atlas 30134014 Santa Fe EMD F-7 Diesel Locomotives

Stunningly beautiful! The picture shows 2 powered A units, 1 powered B unit and 1 non-powered B unit. These were made in 2016 and added to my collection in July of 2017.

Lionel 6-11333 AT&SF 4-8-4 Northern Santa Fe #3759 w/Legacy

Absolutely gorgeous. The smoking whistle is really well done on this engine. The coolest thing is that the engine comes with 3 interchangeable smoke stacks. Made in 2012, added to my set in January 2013.

Lionel 6-28339 Santa Fe AC6000 #9876 Diesel Engine w/Legacy

A fan favorite and a gorgeous engine. Made in 2011, added to my set in December of 2011.

Lionel 6-83382 Santa Fe NW2 Swticher w/Legacy

The coolest thing about this little engine is that it actually has a smoke unit. You don't see that on most small switchers. Cataloged in 2016, added to my collection in February of 2018.

ATSF Rolling Stock (6 items, sorted by item number)

MTH 30-7464 Santa Fe Double Door 50' Box Car

This is a nice double-door version of a few other Santa Fe box cars I have. It's quite a handsome car with attractive detailing and color. I bought this in October of 2005.

Lionel 6-17900 Santa Fe Uni-Body Tank Car

This 1990 tanker is not too bad for the age in which it was made. Yes, the tank itself is cheap plastic and so is much of the rest of the car. However, the trucks are die-cast, which makes this a pretty nice car overall. I picked it up for a few bucks on ebay. I have since weathered this car. It was my second weathering attempt. I made a slight goof on the underside of the car, but otherwise I think it looks pretty good.

Lionel 6-19216 Santa Fe Boxcar

This is just a cheap boxcar, but it has special meaning for me. After I took possession of my dad's old Lionel set in 1990, this car was the first new car that I added to the set. Moreover, it was the first new car to run with the set in over 30 years. I think I bought this for around $30, which was a ton of money to me at the time. This is a 1990 model.

Lionel 6-19216 Santa Fe Boxcar

I found this on ebay. It exactly like the one above, which makes for a nice pair of cars. Sure, they're the same car number, but who cares? Built in 1990.

Lionel 6-81518 Moonpie Boxcar

Quite an attractive car! Made in 2015, added to my collection in September of 2015.

MTH RK-7406L Santa Fe Red & Black Semi-Scale Box Car

This car is basically identical to the 2 brown Lionel 6-19216 Santa Fe box cars I have, except it's a nice bold red color that really looks nice. Added October 2005.
